黄惠特聘教授团队2018年在可视计算研究方面取得重要进展

计算机与软件学院可视计算研究中心(VCC)于2016年4月由黄惠特聘教授创建,致力于大力提升深圳大学可视计算科学研究与高等教育水平。成立不到3年,发展迅速,硕果累累。仅2018年1月至8月期间,黄惠教授带领可视计算研究团队已发表了13篇 A类论文,包括1篇模式识别顶级期刊IEEE PAMI 论文、2篇可视化顶级期刊IEEE TVCG论文和10篇计算机图形学顶级期刊ACM TOG论文。

其中,6 篇TOG论文因在几何建模、形状分析、纹理合成、点云处理、场景理解、三维感知等方面的技术创新同时被SIGGRAPH 2018 大会收录,并已于8月在加拿大温哥华国际会议展览中心宣讲。由美国计算机协会ACM举办的SIGGRAPH国际图形年会是世界上规模最大、影响最广、最权威的一个集科学、艺术、商业于一身的前沿图形技术展示与学术研讨会。历年国际参会人数过万,但大会技术长文仅收录100篇左右,堪称图形学领域的奥斯卡。深大VCC 今年的6篇SIGGRAPH创下该顶会从1974年举办以来中国高校单年发表最高记录,为深圳大学在国际图形领域插下一枚鲜明旗帜!

被IEEE PAMI 2018收录的“基于结构感知的数据优化方法”能快速优化各种嘈杂数据。该算法基于均值平移,但不局限于寻求密度的分布模式,而着重在揭示并整固输入数据的连续高密度结构,同时有效对抗噪声和异常值,在极具挑战的非线性维数降维和数据聚类等广泛应用场景中能显著提高绝大多数现有算法的性能。
