A research project led by Assistant Professor Liu Dugang from CSSE has been successfully selected for the 2025 Tencent Rhino-Bird FinTech Program.

The 2025 Tencent Rhino-Bird Fund received active applications from nearly 600 scholars across more than 100 universities. Scholars from "Project 985" and other top-tier universities accounted for 85% of applicants, making the project selection rate highly competitive, at approximately 11%.
Liu Dugang, PhD, is an Assistant Professor at the School of Computer Science and Software, Shenzhen University. His research focuses on advertising and marketing recommendations, intelligent software services, and large-scale model applications. In the past five years, he has published over 40 papers in leading academic conferences and journals (such as SIGIR, SIGKDD, WWW, TKDE, TOIS, and AIJ), including nearly 30 first-author and corresponding-author papers in CCF-A/B categories. He is a principal investigator for the National Natural Science Foundation of China (NSFC) Young Scientists Program (2024-2026) and the Tencent Rhino-Bird Program (2025).
