Dr. Xu received her B.S. and M.E. degrees from the Ocean University of China in 2011 and 2013, respectively. In 2017, she obtained her Ph.D. degree from the University of New South Wales, Australia. She joined Shenzhen University as an Associate Researcher in November 2017 and became an Assistant Professor in the College of Computer Science and Software Engineering since 2020.

Dr. Xu's research areas are image processing and remote sensing applications. She has published more than 10 SCI/EI papers and been granted the National Natural Science Foundation of China and Shenzhen Research Foundation for Basic Research.
