Feng Liu is currently an Associate Professor and Doctoral Supervisor at the School of Computer and Software, Shenzhen University. In 2014, he obtained a doctoral degree in Electronic Computing from the Hong Kong Polytechnic University and was subsequently introduced by the Shenzhen Municipal Government as a high-level overseas talent. She has been recognized as a high-level overseas talent in Shenzhen, a reserve talent in Shenzhen, and a leading talent in Nanshan District. Her research areas are biometric recognition, pattern recognition, artificial intelligence, and so on. In recent years, more than 50 academic papers have been published in JCR1 journals in related fields such as IEEE Transactions on Image Processing, IEEE Transactions on Information Forensic and Security, Pattern Recognition, etc., and more than 10 papers have been published in international and domestic conferences in related fields such as ICCV, ECCV, ICIP, ICPR, etc. One of the papers has won the second prize for excellent paper from the Guangdong Computer Society. She applied for more than 20 invention patents, authorized 10 domestic invention patents, and completed the conversion of 1 authorized patent. She hosted over 10 projects, including the National Natural Science Foundation of China and the Youth Fund, with a total funding of nearly 5 million yuan. She also undertakes review work for multiple conferences and journals, and serve as local and session chairs for related field conferences such as ICB, CCBR, PRML, and WSB. She guided students to win national third prize and provincial second prize in the College Student Computer Design Competition, and guided graduate students to obtain "100 Outstanding Master's theses".
